Today I was reading an Article in cast system, well to be precise on treating cast based discrimination as Human right violation and then India has strong opposition for that. Of-course India will oppose for a very simple reason that our whole political strategy is based on caste system. There are many party existence is at stake. Now it's not only in politics but thanks to ex-Education Minister) it has widely spread to education system. I do remember, or i have read in History that originally cast based discrimination was there to help and was also planned to be phase out very soon (unlike now when it become a integral part of our system). But i guess our political reader has completely lost the track have developed all the future strategies based on caste system and now when even Nepal is ready to come out of it, we are not on contrary we are getting in it even deeper (with 50% reservation in educational institutes). So i hope this new UN initiative will or perhaps should or could get a different view to our indian society. Although i know no quick solution for it. so once again i will use the favourate superem court quote that even god can't help us.

Meera Sanyal, Politically Incorrect

I like the article in TOI about the lady called Meera Sanyal. We have been talking about setting up a trend, come out and actively participate in politics, remove these Old, Fat, Dishonest and good for nothing people for Lokshbha and create a new, fresh and young look for our Indian politics. So finally a lady stood by, who wanted to invest her hard earn money and wanted to make her presence felt in this ageing Indian politics. I remember watch9ing movie "Yuva"even though that's not emerged from an ideal situation but it definitely has the content. It's really feel great to see that concept turning into a reality..... Hat's off to Ms Sanyal.

Voting right for people leaving abroad

There are millions of Indians leaving outside India and willing to vote but due to unavailability of the system and support there wishes left unfulfilled. Shouldn't Indian government should look into this matter and may be arrange for voting at the Indian High Commission, or by post or could come with some other revolutionary ideas.
